My name is Kumar Oswal.

I have eight years of extensive experience in developing websites & web-applications using multiple scripting languages, markup languages, web editors and databases. Have created 40+ websites in domains as varied as Web 2.0, CMS-based, E-Commerce, Static websites, Flash-based, OS-Commerce based, Multimedia, Social Networking, Travel, Forums, Education and Marketing. My responsibilities included managing the complete SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) related to a website, setting up the servers and domain names for clients on different C-Panels, deploying the website on these live servers and setting up databases. Functioned as a team leader for managing a small team with full time communication with the clients and stakeholders regarding the requirements of the project, development updates feedback and solving issues. Experienced in providing roadmaps for development efforts and setting up milestones and phases for migrating codes. Experienced in working with startups as well as large scale companies like Symantec & Qualcomm.

Accomplishments

  • I have setup my own domain name and have uploaded some websites, jQuery demos & Google API demos developed by me - http://www.kumaroswal.com. This website is programmed to be compatible on mobiles, smartphones and tablets.
  • Designed and developed a complete college based educational website which is controlled by a customizable CMS – http://www2.cnwl.ac.uk

  • Hands-on exposure with some advanced libraries , frameworks & CMS like Joomla, AJAXify,  jQuery, Paypal , Magento, Drupal, &  WordPress.
  • Have a deep understanding and experience on multiple client & server side scripting languages.
  • Have a deep understanding of standardized frameworks like Django which work on the MVC pattern.
  • Hands-on exposure with creating, managing and manipulating Databases (MySQL)
